KP Snacks is a British producer of maize-potato and nut-based snacks.
The company is based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England and was founded in 1853.
In 1973 the famous Hula Hoops potato snack was introduced - instantly loved by young and old.
Unintended by the company, customers started sticking the hollow cylinders onto their fingers before eating them - a ritual now a trademark procedure for anyone eating a Hula Hoop anywhere in the world.
