For decades Storck has produced quality sugar confectionery and chocolate specialties.
August Storck founded the Werther’s Sugar Confectionery Factory in Germany with three employees, a cooking pan and a kettle in 1903. The world’s first cream caramel candy was born. In 1934 the company started production of Storck Riesen, the first-ever individually wrapped and branded candy.
In 1964, with the launch of Merci, the company’s reputation for premium quality chocolate was established. By 1973 Toffifee, one of the company’s flagship products, was made possible by an idea of a Storck engineer for a unique production technology that combined three of the most-loved confectionery flavours: caramel, hazelnut and chocolate.
Over a hundred years later, the company is still an owner-managed family business and its brands are sold in over one hundred countries. Storck is one of the ten largest confectionery manufacturers worldwide. All of their products are developed and produced in-house in three German facilities where stringent quality control procedures contribute to the exceptional quality you get from every Storck brand.
More recently, Storck has adapted to the public demand for healthier snack choices, resulting in a large range of sugar-free confectionery suitable for diabetics.
